Where you’ll be

Jerusalem, Jerusalem District, Israel

Baqua is one of the most beautiful neighborhoods of Jerusalem, with beautiful 19 and 20th-century buildings, not higher than 4 floors, filled with caffees, restaurants of different international cuisine, and shops. The neighborhood was built as a result of the railway construction which eventually brought a lot of business to the area. The railway, which connected Istambul to Jerusalem, is now made into a walking and cycling area, filled with open libraries, places for picnics, or resting on the grass or the benches.. The strolling path ends with an open-air cultural center called simply Tachana Rishona- The First Sation where there is always a program of morning yoga, stands with different nicknacks, restaurants and bars, and concerts in the open and for free.
From Baqua there are buses to the center of Jerusalem that is only 5-10 minutes away, and if you want to continue to the old city of Jerusalem, you can do so on foot through a beautiful road, passing Cinemateque, Artist colony (the Artist's Fair is starting in a few days), and Sultans pool, where there are concerts and film festivals during the summer, all this with a breathtaking view of the walls of Old Jerusalem.
