Leader’s Farm is a historic, recently renovated farmhouse.

Two of the patriarch’s great grandchildren, the current owners, have rehabilitated and modernized this 1700s farmhouse from top to bottom , while striving to maintain the character and feel of the traditional farmhouse they experienced as children.

It has proven to be the perfect setting for Irish style decompression, and the location of choice to launch excursions along the Wild Atlantic Way.

The space
The cottage features a small wood stove and the original bellows in a cosy living area which is backed up with underfloor heating system. The dining room table seats up to 6 persons. There is a gourmet kitchen with Rangemaster cooker, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, dishes and cooking utensils. Hallway has a washer and dryer.

It sleeps six people in a large double bedroom, twin bedroom and mezzanine twin bedroom. Luxury bed linens and towels are provided. Two bathrooms, one with high powered shower and the other with an original claw bath.

The home has been decorated to a high standard with exposed stone and open beams. Much of the furniture and all the draperies are
custom designed. The kitchen dresser and pine kitchen table are original to the home and have been lovingly restored.
