Situated in Dorman Bay, our waterfront property is a fabulous location with incredible and expansive views to the North, East and South.

There’s no better place to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine to soak in the views! We’re often frequented by eagles, deer & if you're lucky whales!

We’re only a 5 minute drive from Snug Cove (ferry, restaurants, shops), 15 minute walk to Dorman Point, and 10 minute walk to September Morn Beach.

We have two dwellings on the property: the cabin and the main house.

The cabin is 1,000 sq.ft. with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room w/ sofa bed, full kitchen, large patio, and private hot tub. Sleeps 4 people.

As you walk into the cabin, you're greeted with an open concept living space (kitchen, dining room, living room). The kitchen and dining room are fully equipped with a 6-seater dining table, 4 bar stools, stove, oven, microwave, fridge, dish washer, Keurig coffee machine, kettle, toaster, blender, and kitchen utensils. The living room has a sofa bed with a queen mattress pull-out, as well as a love seat and flat screen TV. There is access to high speed wi-fi and Netflix. The open concept living space has eclipse sliding doors to the patio where you'll find a BBQ and lounge furniture to enjoy the view.

As you continue though the cabin, you'll see the bedrooms and bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king bed and ensuite bathroom with a rain shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed and the second bathroom has a bath tub with a rain shower. There is also a dryer and washer available beside the second bathroom.

Last, but not least, the private hot tub! This hot tub will be private for your use during your stay, no other guests will be using it. It accommodates 4-6 people and is a great place to watch the sunset!

Please note:
1. Our driveway is very steep and cemented all the way down. There are two parking spots at the cabin, but if you prefer, we have a gravel parking pad at the road, 100m past our driveway entrance.
2. The landscaping around the cabin and around the property are still in progress.

About our other accommodations and shared spaces:

The main house accommodates 4 private suites (Cypress Mountain Suite, Mount Strachan Suite, St. Mark’s Summit Suite, and David Peak Suite). Click on my personal profile to view the individual listings.

The suites range between 200 sq.ft to 250 sq.ft. Each suite has its own private exterior entrance, king/queen bed, private bathroom with rain shower, heated bathroom floor & heated towel rack, flat screen TV, dining area, and kitchenette. The suites have access to three outdoor lounge areas, a shared hot tub, a shared wood barrel sauna, a lawn games field and a staircase to the ocean. All suites have access to high speed wi-fi and Netflix.

There is a wood barrel sauna down by the main house, which is shared between all the property guests.

The property offers a lawn games area (cornhole, bocce, and spike ball) above the main house parking lot for all guests to use and enjoy.

There is access to the ocean (no beach) using our newly built wooden stairs down by the main house. Please use caution and use at your own risk. You can use the stairs between sunrise and sunset. If you plan on going swimming, the currents are very strong in our bay, so we recommend using life jackets.

My husband and I live in the main house and we look forward to meeting you!

Hi! My name is Melissa and I live on Bowen Island, Canada. I love to travel, hike, and enjoy the outdoors.

During your stay

My husband and I live in the main house, so we'll mostly be around in the mornings and evenings. However, I work on the island and can be available when needed.
