You will reserve our really small studio(9sq meters) strictly for one person , which is a little below ground floor(about 1 meter). It is located at our shared courtyard, but there is exterior furniture for every other guest.

Barbara Studios is, and has been, a real Cretan family home, welcoming travelers coming from all over the world since 1969, respecting the meaning of the Greek word "Filoxenia". If you wish to feel like a local, then this will be your real home in Rethymno. :-)

In this 1600's Venetian building, the Venetian and Ottoman heritage, the exotic scents and the magnificent architecture, all endowed to us by the lords and merchants who lived here in the ancient times, is still real and is immediately revealed when you step through the front door for the first time. The tradition of hospitality has been alive at Barbara Studios, since 1969.
