This unit is just steps to World Renowned Poipu Beach where turtles & Hawaiian monk seals are frequently found napping on the sand. Walking distance to several eateries and bars and a short drive to The Shops at Kukui'ula with tons of shopping and restaurant options.

The space
This modern design is a perfect place to rest & hang out in between exploring the island. The Unit has a one bedroom that has an eastern king bed and a brand new AC system that blows ice cold! The living/kitchen area also has a couch that converts into a sleeper that accommodates children. Located in the intimate l (only 8 units) Hale Kahanalu Condominium complex. The walls are decorated with photography from award-winning local photographer, Steve Munch, who has a gallery at The Shops at Kukui'ula. The unit has a shower (no tub) with a tankless water heater so you can take that extra long hot shower after a long day at the beach or hiking.

There is a shared yard with a propane barbecue and picnic table as well as a shared laundry room on site.

The south shore of Kauai is a great central spot for both those exploring the South and the West side of the island like Waimea & the Napali Coast. Poipu Beach has been recognized as America's best beach by The Travel Channel. Poipu Beach is great for kids or those who want to wade in the ocean due to the sand bar that is there protected from the waves. Just 100 steps away is a locally known bodysurfing beach called Brennecke's Beach and just on the other side of the sand bar is a longer stretch of beach for surfing and other water activities.

The unit is just one block from rich Kauai history in the archaeological site Kaneiolouma which is an ancient Hawaiian village. Just a few miles away is also Makauwahi Cave Reserve with guided tours available.

If you're looking for quick bites the condo is a short walk to Brennecke's Beach Broiler, Little Fish Coffee, World Famous Puka Dog, Kalapaki Joes, & The Cabana Bar & Grill! The unit comes with all your main beach essentials like umbrellas & chairs but if you want to rent snorkel or surfing equipment Nukumoi Surf Shop is just one block away. For shopping and further dining experience go visit The Shops at Kukui'ula which is a very short drive away.
