Dawn and John are a couple who practice a self-sufficiency life-style, Dawn loves her edible acreage garden and John is interested in native bees and restoring vintage cars. They graze a few sheep and collect eggs from their chooks and turkeys. We have had a few overseas adventures and tours over the years and both love travel and the excitement of new people and cultures. Hence we often stay in AirBnB ourselves. We love our 10 acres that we have developed into a tranquil, rustic country style home. So happy that we are close to the beach and near town-but in our own bit of paradise. Dawn was/is a cook who gets pleasure in creating culinary delights from her extensive vegetable and herb garden and the fish/mudcrabs that the boys bring home from fishing. Can't live without our local seafood. She has an array of awards for her scones, relishes, jams and cakes. John is a retired pilot and trucking proprietor as well as ex miner and hales from the Southern Highlands area of NSW. He dabbles in photography and is a Mr fix-it who can turn his hand to anything.
