The space
Our 3 ocean-facing bedrooms and 2 bedrooms with a garden view offer a perfect space to relax and recharge. Designed for families, friends, and remote workers, the Casa Azul is an easy place for everyone to have their space and enjoy common indoor and outdoor areas. Fast, reliable internet is ready for you in all parts of the house.

Please inquire about any info you may need on traveling to this area. We can book a massage with an ocean-view in the privacy of the Casa Azul, or coordinate fresh local coffee to be delivered to you. Fishing tours (seasonal), lake and coffee tours, and private surf lessons and surf trips are a few of the many activities we can organize for you. We can suggest private shuttles from the airport to Playa El Tunco, car or motorbike rentals, restaurants, and more. Come enjoy what this special part of the world has to offer!

The house is a 3 min drive from the beach and surf break of Sunzal and El Tunco (surf break: La Bocana). It is a 15 min drive to El Zonte or La Libertad. Back at the Casa Azul, you can relax to the sound of gentle waves and palms swaying in the breeze.

The Casa Azul has an open design and expansive indoor/outdoor spaces. The spacious kitchen connects to indoor dining and living areas. The fully equipped and newly renovated kitchen is ideal for group meals. The breakfast bar seats 4 and the indoor dining table seats 6.

The indoor living area has a sofa, a TV, and books and games. It has screened in glass doors that open onto the patio. We strive to be eco-friendly, and while air conditioning is available in each bedroom, the common living area is cooled by ceiling and floor fans.

The outdoor patio dining table seats 8 and faces an ocean-facing pool. The patio is covered, creating a perfect space to entertain or relax in a hammock. Enjoy ocean views on our patio sofa, chairs, or hammock, or dine alfresco.

Dip into Casa Azul’s ocean-facing infinity pool after cooling off in the outdoor shower.

Office/Game room
During the day, an oversized desk allows you to enjoy the inspired garden and ocean vistas. In the evening, settle scores at the foosball table!

The Board Room
Store your boards in a special indoor room. You can walk in from the pool/outdoor patio area, so no steps are involved! We see you, longboarders.

Bedrooms
All bedrooms have individual ceiling fans and A/C units.

Main suite (Sunzal) - Pamper yourself with amazing sunset views over the ocean from the main suite. This spacious haven has a king-sized bed and oversized chairs to curl up and read, nap, relax, or be inspired. There is A/C and a ceiling fan. In case you need to plug in to work, there’s a large table that can serve as a desk. The main suite has special access to the sunset hut.

The large en-suite bathroom has two sinks and a lovely, spacious shower.

Bedroom 2 (Mango) - Drift to sleep with an ocean view. This room has a "cama matrimonial" (56" x 74", in-between a double and a queen) and shares a bathroom.

Bedroom 3 (Ataco) - Enjoy both mountain and ocean views from this beautiful corner room. This room has a "cama matrimonial" (56" x 74", in-between a double and a queen) and a large closet. This room shares a bathroom.

Bedroom 4 (Morazán) - This room has two double beds and overlooks the street and garage. There is an armoire to store your belongings and a desk. This room shares a bathroom.

Bedroom 5 (La Palma) - This room has two full size beds and overlooks the street and palms of the front entry area of the Casa Azul. There is an armoire to store your belongings and a desk with a chair. This room shares a bathroom.
