The space
Make this cabin your base camp! Just a few miles from Pincushion Mountain with 25 kilometers of classic and nordic cross country ski, snow shoeing, hiking, running, and single-track mountain biking trails. Only 4 miles to Grand Marias! At the entrance to the world-famous Gunflint Trail and the gateway to the Boundary Waters. Only a few miles to fishing on beautiful Devil Track Lake or take a guided charter on Lake Superior.

Open yard leads to the creek with a hiking loop in the summer and fall or snow shoeing in winter. Picture yourself cozied up to the wood stove or as a base camp to the many surrounding trails. Located just up the Gunflint trail, close enough to Grand Marais for great dining or grab some groceries and enjoy a meal at the cabin. There is also a fire pit and grill for outdoor cooking.

Families will enjoy kids toys, books and a sandbox in the summer. Parents will enjoy the new full-sized washer and dryer for dirty clothes from playing outside. Dog-lovers will love the dog bowls and bed, as well as the yard for your dog to play and run around.

Grand Marais, MN is a charming harbor town with artistic, outdoorsy and friendly people, as well as natural beauty and endless events. Grand Marais was named a Top 100 Adventure Town by National Geographic Adventure Magazine. It was recently voted Coolest Small Town 2015 by Budget Travel.

Every season brings fun activities and events to the area. Go skiing or ride the alpine slide at Lutsen Resort just 30 minutes away. Hike the Superior Hiking Trail, mountain bike and ski the Pinsushion Mountain trails within easy access of the cabin. It's fun and relaxing to just drive up the Gunflint Trail to look for moose or dine at the various old lodges along the way. Take a trip into town for many great restaurants and to catch some live music or go shopping in town at the art galleries. Enjoy the gateway to the Boundary Waters by going inland canoeing or kayaking, take a fishing charter, or just build a fire and look for Northern Lights.

Thanks for checking out our cabin! We live in Deephaven, Minnesota, a western suburb of the Twin Cities located near Lake Minnetonka. We have two young children who keep us very busy. When we aren't chasing kids around, we are busy working, entertaining, boating, biking, hiking and hanging out with family. We also love to travel and were married in Corciano, Italy.
