The space
This old cottage was built in 1890 with 4 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. It had an additional family room and half bath added in the mid 1900s. This house has many quirks and is far from cookie-cutter, so you can expect a truly unique space. Our favorite room is the family room in the back. It's the perfect hangout spot in the house and looks out over the larger natural yard that will make you feel like you're at a cabin in the woods. This is a quiet residential area with children, so please consider it for peaceful getaways (not for parties) and be mindful of the neighbors. The property is walkable to the little downtown shops, restaurants, breweries, and more. The narrow driveway fits 3 vehicles and there is no parking on the deadend street. We are happy to advise on additional parking as needed.

This is very quiet, family neighborhood. It has a great touch of nature and wildlife, but houses are still close enough together where extra care should be taken to not disturb neighbors. We definitely recommend going for a walk whether from the front or through the backyard. Your are close to a charming little downtown the restaurants, shops, and more.

I've lived on both coasts of the U.S., but I'm not sure I can pick a favorite. I currently reside in Arizona and left a piece of my heart in the Hudson Valley of New York. I'm a GIS professional who loves to travel when I can find the time. I always say that there is nothing that refreshes my soul more than travel to new places, making new connections, and experiencing the local culture and customs. Good food, good drinks, good friends, and good times are what I like.
