Quiet, well-equipped room (no TV) for 1 to 2 persons, located in the east of Stuttgart, in a district called Untertürkheim, characterized by extensive vineyards overlooking the river Neckar.
Free private parking space is available.
Several stores and restaurants within walking distance.
From the Untertürkheim station, Stuttgart's main train station is only 10 minutes away.

The space
The room has a surface of 11 m², can be locked, has its own temperature thermostat and is equipped with:
- 1 double bed (140x200) with easily accessible power sockets,
- 2 small bedside tables,
- 2 bedside lamps,
- 1 wardrobe with a hanging space and mirrors,
- A workspace, consisting of 1 chair and 1 desk, on which there is a reading lamp, as well as easily accessible power sockets and USB ports,
- 1 trash can.

Even though the room faces the street, it is relatively quiet, especially when the window is closed (double-glazed window).

Please note that the bed will be set up for a single person with one towel. However, if you are 2 guests, you will find an extra duvet, pillow and towel in the wardrobe.

The apartment has a total area of 55 m², has Wi-Fi, underfloor heating and is located on the raised first floor, just 1.50 m above the road, of a small residence of 4 apartments, in a relatively quiet area.

To share are:

- a relatively large built-in kitchen where 4 people can sit and eat relatively comfortably. The kitchen is well-equipped and includes 2 tables (60x120) that can be combined in different ways.

- a small but modern bathroom with shower and toilet.

- a washing machine and a dryer in the laundry room, located in the basement of the residence.

Stuttgart-Untertürkheim is not only a district characterized by extensive vineyards overlooking the river Neckar, but is also characterized by the headquarters of Daimler and its large car factory. Untertürkheim thus offers a good mix of industry, nature and life.

It is very pleasant to walk through the vineyards, while always climbing a little higher.
From the apartment, it takes only 10 minutes to walk there. With another 6 minutes, you can then reach a first viewpoint above the Untertürkheim district. And with a further 20 minutes (1.4 km) you can even reach the famous Württemberg Chapel, which offers a breathtaking view of Stuttgart and its surroundings, with the famous "Mercedes-Benz Arena" soccer stadium in the foreground.

But on the other side, it is also quite pleasant to walk or cycle along the river Neckar.
From the apartment, it only takes 10 minutes to walk there, which is where start the large Daimler area where are build Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
From there, while staying along the river for 3 km, it is also possible to reach the famous 35 hectares festival area called "Cannstatter Wasen" where 2 major events take place every year.
These famous events are the "Cannstatter Volksfest" (starting at the end of September) and the "Stuttgarter Frühlingsfest" (starting in mid-April). These 2 events combine harmoniously beer festival and fairground attractions.

My main sport is kiteboarding, having my home spot here in Stuttgart, but my favorite kite spot is Beauduc (South of France), where I go every year, at least 3 weeks, for over 20 years :)
