The space
Newly renovated 1 bdrm 1 bthrm ground level suite with gas fireplace. The private bedroom is cozy with a queen bed, nightstands, and brand new hotel linens and plush pillows. The living room has a fold down double sofa bed for kids or an extra guest, and lots of cozy seating near the fireplace. The fully equipped kitchenette includes a microwave, double convection cooktop, toaster oven, dishwasher, pots and pans, utensils, dishes & bowls, and a Keurig coffee machine. We provide a selection of teas and Nespresso coffee pods. The little Zen outdoor seating area includes bistro table with seating for two, and a propane BBQ (to come this summer). Private, clean stylish, comfortable, and in a wildly convenient location—walk everywhere!!!

Wake up in the AM, and stroll down to the pier to enjoy some of the best atmosphere at the waters edge and coffee at Tell Your Friends Cafe. Or after a day of beaching and/or hiking, wander to town. We are only a 10 min max walk from all of this and more in beautiful Snug Cove! Our cozy suite is located in a private home in Bowen Island’s well loved Deep Bay neighbourhood. It is a family friendly “loop”, very close to the cove and trails. There is also easy access to two local beaches, each within a 5 minute walk of the house.

Guest access
Designated parking on driveway or in front of the property. Entry is via a lockbox with a code you will be granted with your check in instructions.

Other things to note
Cycling: If you're into cycling, your hostess, Saskia, can give you the low down on all of the road, gravel, and mountain biking trails (and Strava segments, if that's your thing) on the island. I also have all of the tools you'll need to keep your bike operating smoothly should you encounter any problems. Check out the "Bowen Island Man" route if you want to second guess your capacity to handle Bowen Island's insane road climbs, and Bowen Island Ride Club on Strava to connect with other cyclists. Also, our guests get a discount with Bowen E-Bikes if you want to go that route (fun for the whole family—he has great chariots for toddlers/young kids).
