Rydal Hall is a uniquely peaceful and spiritual retreat owned by the Diocese of Carlisle. The rooms are simple but comfortable and many have outstanding views across the valley or fells. There are many hidden corners in which to relax , and a sociable dining space if you would like some company. The hall boasts beautiful gardens, a small woodland and a lovely tea shop overlooking the waterfall. There is a relaxed and friendly environment and you will feel right at home.

Our cottages are set in the extensive grounds of Rydal Hall. These consist of over thirty acres of woodland, pasture and formal gardens. Rydal Beck cascades through the estate, with stunning waterfalls to enjoy. We are in easy walking distance of Rydal Water and are ideally place to explore the Lakeland Fells.
