Safa Farms is the perfect place to build beautiful memories with your friends and family. If you're an outdoorsy type of person, you will love it. If you're looking for a fancy hotel experience, this might not be for you.

The farm features a large outdoor palapa, a pool, an in-ground fire pit, true composting toilets and gorgeous outdoor showers which are SHARED across the 6 cabins!

Oh and don't forget it's in front of a beautiful lake with tons of wild life (many bird migrations) all around.

The space
We love pets, but due to space constraints, we can only accept one pet per cabin.

There is a small restaurant run by our people in the farm which costs extra :)

All the property was designed to integrate with nature. The road to the farm is a dirt road and during the rainy season it can get difficult to arrive, but if you do get stuck, our staff will come and help you get unstuck. A non 4x4 should be able to make it but if it does get stuck, we will help get out

The water from the showers and sinks all go towards growing our trees.

The pool and the water for showers are all solar heated.

When you sit in the Palapa, you will have a huge panorama or the entire lake and all the surrounding towns. Not to mention all the beautiful bird migrations you'll witness.

There are 2 toilets and 2 showers (with changing rooms) located within a few meters of each cabin. The cabins and main house do NOT have a bathroom or shower directly attached to them. The showers and toilets are SHARED across the big adobe house and the 6 cabins.

At night, the entire farm is illuminated, so you can walk around and enjoy the nature.

We heat 90,000 liters of water using the sun and can heat up all that water 4 degrees celcius (from 26 to 30 in spring and fall, 28 to 34 in the summer and in the winter from 24 to 28).

All the power you will consume is solar. We are not connected to the electric grid.

Even your p** and p** are composted! We have imported truly composting toilets (instead of just a pit) from France to make sure we don't contaminate our soil or water.

The massive (built for 25 people) in-ground fire pit is designed so that the winds go right over it and the massive rocks will contain all the heat of the fire and also prevents mosquitos from getting inside.
