This gorgeous executive home has all the charm of a log cabin in a peaceful setting, but more high-end finishes than we can list. The comfort and beauty is second to none.

A pet fee of $60 applies so that we can provide deep cleaning and fresh blankets after your pet's visit.

The space
The Log Cabin is surrounded by hardwood and cedar forest. Enjoy the nearby “Village” or take a short walk to a large deck overlooking a small lake. Watch the blue heron on the lakeside deck as you sip your coffee. You can also enjoy the beauty of the surroundings on your covered front porch in the porch swing, or on the huge deck in the back.

This unique property takes you back in time. The child- and pet-friendly Log Cabin is located near The Village with a Woodshop, Blacksmith Bungalow, Whiskey Still, Smokehouse, Cider Mill, Shingle Mill, Victorian Cottage, and Train Depot. Originally owned by George Carney, The Village was built as a movie back-drop for friend Donna Douglas (Elly May Clampett of Beverly Hillbillies fame).

Bedrooms #1 and #2 are on the second floor and each have private bathrooms.

Bedroom #3 is on the main level and the en-suite shower is a short step up. This space is designed for our guests who prefer no stairs.

Sleeping area #4 is located in the office area on the main level and offers two oversized single futons.

We provide a play area with books and toys for smaller children in the upstairs loft area. The fenced yard is also a great place for children and pets to play.

For an intimate getaway for two, check out our other AirBNB listing "The Charming Victorian.” For larger groups or families, see “The Blacksmith Bungalow” listing. Both the Victorian and Blacksmith are located on the same property as the Log Cabin.

We are 5.5 miles from Rolla down a highway with quaint farms, rolling hills, and tall timber. The closest neighbor is not too far, but not visible in this hill top setting among gorgeous cedar woods.
