14.7 miles from Mammoth Cave National Park (approximately 25 minute drive to the national park and about 45-60 minute drive to the caves, this cozy Lakehouse is a relaxing place to spend time with family or friends. Lots of things to do like hiking, fishing, boating or just enjoying a meal on the spacious covered deck! Boat ramp only 1 mile from the house. This place has endless opportunities to make lasting memories.

The space
This is a 3 bedroom 1 bathroom home that has a fully stocked kitchen. Master bedroom has a queen bed with TV. Second bedroom has a full size bed with a twin bunk bed above, and the third bedroom has a twin bunk bed. We provide towels and bedding. There are extra blankets and pillows if needed.
Master Bedroom and second bedroom have flat screen TVs with WiFi.

The best part is the outdoor space! There is a large covered deck with a gas grill as well as seating to enjoy a meal with close friends and or family. Fire pit is just a few steps away to warm up to or maybe make some s’mores.

Here are some places nearby that are great to visit while in town:

Mammoth Cave National Park is 14.7 miles away approximately a 25-30 minute drive and the worlds largest cave system is only 20 miles away approximately 45-60 minute drive from our home. Make sure to look on their website for reservations as they book quickly.

Glendale, Ky is only 22 miles about a 27 minute car ride. This little town has one of the most popular restaurants called the Whistle Stop Diner. If you would like a little more upscale dinning you may want to visit Tony York’s. Also enjoy some antique shopping on the Main Street!

Last but not least you can visit some of the most famous distillery’s around like Makers Mark, Heaven Hill, Jim Beam, Lux Row and several others. These are approximately 60 minutes away depending on the distillery some are 75-80 minutes away.

This neighborhood is a very quite and peaceful. Makes a nice getaway whether you are looking for a romantic getaway, family time and or just some alone time this place is it!

The boat ramp is about 1 mile from the home. Our neighborhood has its own private boat ramp. Wax marina is right down the road which has a family style restaurant with good food just in case you do not feel like cooking.
