6 miles to the the gates of WFU and 8 miles to downtown Winston-Salem, this super private, eco conscious, artisan built tiny treehouse dubbed "High Livin'' is the definition of modern, rustic elegance. Fall asleep under the stars and wake up to the birds, 14 ft in the air, nestled under the canopy of four towering hickory trees.

The space
Inside the 18x18 footprint are :

- A queen size memory foam bed, topped by soda pop bottle canopy, with drawers underneath ( depression era green glass knobs ) and a cave for suitcases or dogs

- Reading loft with double memory foam mattress accessed via antique farm ladder

- Fully equipped , custom kitchen crafted from antique locust boards with stainless steel sink, double induction cooktop and tall, thin German fridge

- Living space with 1930's Haywood Wakefield chrome sofa and 2 Eames chairs.

- Hidden table pulls out from end of bed for dining or writing.

- Bathroom with grasscloth wallpaper, massive vessel sink, wall mount Toto toilet, 3x3 stainless steel shower, and a closet.

- Outsider art and an eclectic, expansive library complete the boho decor.

- A deck stretches the full 18 feet across the front as well as a large, wide side deck with cafe table for outdoor dining and lots of chairs.

- A long ramp leads up to the treehouse with a tangled mass of crepe myrtle branches forming the railing. A gate at the top of the gangplank provides extra privacy and can keep your animals enclosed if you like.

- A/C and Heat supplied by Mitsubishi mini split for year round comfort, calibrated to individual preferences.

- Firepit and chairs underneath treehouse so can be enjoyed even in the rain.

- 4.5 acres of forest and grass for your animals to roam off leash, plus lots of trails close by.
