Where you’ll be

Bristol, Vermont, United States

Bristol is a picturesque Vermont town known as "the gateway to the Green Mountains," because of the glorious backdrop of our state's namesake. Restaurants include The Bobcat Cafe, The Makery, Snaps diner, and Cubbers. Chill out at the cute yellow creemee stand. At night, head to the South Mountain Tavern for a beer and some live music. Antiques and gift shops line main street as well. Get some local beer at the Hogback Brewery on the river. The village green is a community hub with a charming playground.

Plenty of nearby swimming (Bartlett Falls!), hiking (The Green Mountains!), and parks (Middlebury College Bowl!). There's also the nearby towns of Vergennes and Middlebury to explore. A 45 minute drive to Vermont's biggest city, Burlington.
