Our small refuge has a chalet-like design for a holiday atmosphere. Parking is near the entrance and Wi-Fi is high. At 4 minutes from the entrance to the Parc de la Gaspésie (299), it also gives access to the sea just across the street. First Avenue is in the old part of the city and it is very nice to walk there to discover the beautiful landscape, Exploramer, the chocolate factory, the dock, etc. It is also close to all amenities and the hospital center.

The space
A picnic table is available outside. There is a washer and dryer with detergent in the bathroom. The decor combines forest and marine inspirations with plenty of natural wood. The sofa bed is comfortable and easy to prepare for 2 extra people. The curtains are quite opaque in all rooms to offer more intimate mornings. We completed the renovations in June 2021. It's brand new !

Where you’ll be

Sainte-Anne-des-Monts, Quebec, Canada

First Avenue is very nice for a walk along the sea. Route 299 takes you to the Parc de la Gaspésie for a variety of activities in both winter and summer. You can go kayaking (Chez Valmont, Eskamer Aventure), paddleboarding, sailing, fishing at sea or in the river, visiting Exploramer (the St. Lawrence Museum), picking blueberries in season, skiing off-piste (several companies and the park), and many other things !
Access to the beach is down the coast, after the small bridge.
Nearby you will find a bistro restaurant, snacks and petrol.
From Cap-Chat, there is a multitude of possible activities. The Chic-Chocs Grande Nature Village is about 30 minutes away and offers trails for hiking by snowmobile or mountain bike, cross-country skiing or on foot (Village-Grande-Nature-Chic-Chocs). You can also visit the wind farm .
The Gaspésie National Park offers many mountain trails for hiking, moose or caribou watching (30 minutes drive).
Mount Nicole-Albert, in the Matane Wildlife Reserve, offers a more sporty hike and unique landscapes (access via Cap-Chat). This is an area where moose can be observed.

I love nature and natural health. I like to travel and discover... I'm curious ! I like to share with people different topics: environment, cultures, art, gardening, for example. I'm an artist and I like what's meticulous. I work at a high school for replacements in French. I like kayaking, biking, hiking, downhill skiing, and staying in shape to enjoy it. The mountains are so beautiful... I can't get enough of the colors of the sunsets on the beach in Cap-Chat ! My readings are more informative than fake.
