The space
Suitable for Couples, families or friends - Sea Breeze Cottage is your home away from home and includes:

* Private large section with grass areas for the whole family to enjoy.

* A very easy stroll to the beach via a public access walkway to the Kaka Point Main Beach. This swimming beach is patrolled by lifeguards in summer.

* Board games and sports equipment available.

* A Cosy Wood burner Fire.

* This is a great base to stay whilst you are exploring the scenic wonders of the Catlins area, the Lighthouse and surrounding area.

Other things to note
There are two bedrooms in the house and the third is the sleepout cabin which is not attached to the house but on the property about 5 metres away.

This is another example of a kiwi style bach, which is a home that New Zealanders use for their family holidays. They are not brand new and dont look like motel units but they are very comfortable homes

Nugget Point Lighthouse -a 13 minute drive from Kaka Point - is a spectacular walk with abundant views and wildlife. You may see seals and the yellow eyed penguins.
Other local attractions include Tunnell Hill, Matai Falls, Cannibal Bay, Purakaunui Falls ,Roaring Bay, McLean Falls and much more.
