Where you’ll be

Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico

The Hotel de la Soledad is the oldest hotel in Morelia, with its construction dating back to the early 18th century, around 1735. Located in the center of the capital city, often called "the most Spanish city in Mexico," it is known for its stunning colonial architecture.

Many of the city's 200 historic buildings—such as the majestic 600-year-old cathedral (only a half block away)—, and 15 plazas were constructed out of pink quarry stone. The town's architectural history reveals a masterly and eclectic blend of the medieval spirit with Renaissance, Baroque and neoclassical elements.
