Good access from mumbai with only 100 km to drive .100 metre away from the river . ideal place to be based for quick access to Matheran , hike to Peth Fort and Gilbert point. Enjoy the monsoon till September and then join the host in organic farming from October to April and source your own vegetables . The farm has not used any fertilizer or pesticides on last 7 years . Visit and learn about Miyawaki forest of 1500 trees

The space
Solitude was the residence of Dr Sudhir Pillai and Dr Neeta Jain before they moved to the adjacent farm . The purpose of listing this bungalow is to provide employment to the nearby villagers and also to sustain a programme called - THE SCHOOL COURTYARD project, which aims to improve the infrastructure of the schools. It also runs a protein supplementation programme since Jan 2020 wherein 2 eggs are provided to every student of the school every day to combat Malnutrition . You have earned positive Karma by opting to stay at the Solitude .
