Lackaroe is a quaint 19th century country cottage located along the Lough Derg Way on the eastern shores of Lough Derg. This tranquil rural location is an area of great charm and natural beauty.

The cottage is set in an old style lawned garden with shrubs, ferns, bulbs and hydrangeas is bounded by stone walls, surrounded by farmland and blends harmoniously into the natural environment.

Lackaroe was lovingly restored in 2016. It retains its old world charm, character and original proportions. Beautifully appointed, tastefully decorated and coordinated, it is fitted and equipped to 4 star standards. Waxed pine furniture and quality carpets compliment the country ambience. A welcoming cottage, ideal for couples and families, perfect for holidays at any time of year. Warm and comfortable with oil fired central heating, a wood burning stove and a high standard of internal insulation.

Centrally located an ideal touring base for exploring the heritage and landscape of the Shannon region and beyond -The Burren, Rock of Cashel, Birr Castle Gardens ,Hunt Museum, Bunratty Castle and Holy island.
