Beautiful bright lakefront cottage on Katchewanooka Lake. Our cottage is year round and is located 2 hrs N of the GTA, 15 mins N of Peterborough, and a short 8 mins N of Lakefield. Our cottage is located on a private rd and has a fenced yard for pets. Launch your own watercraft at a local marina and enjoy exploring the Trent Canal System with access to Clear Lake, Stoney Lake etc. or take a short 15 min drive North or East and explore the Petroglyphs Prov. Park and Warsaw Caves Prov. Park.

The space
Whether you're bringing your work along or you're on vacation, wake up to warm sunrises and enjoy your coffee while watching our many early rising wildlife (herons, otters, ducks, swans). Cook breakfast while watching the fog lift from the lake. Small children can wade in easily with our shallow sandy beach. Although swimming is not ideal off our dock, take the paddle boards into deeper water and enjoy jumping off your personal water raft. Get out on the water with paddle boards, canoe or 12' alum boat. Katchewanooka Lake is best known for carp, bass, pickerel and muskie fishing. End your evening roasting marshmellows over the open fire pit or by soaking in the 6 person hot tub overlooking the lights on the lake. A variety of board games for those rainy days are provided.
