Great location
100% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
Off grid tiny cottage facing the windmills atop Ngong Hills. Experience farmhouse living with fresh herbs and indigenous vegetables from the garden and farm fresh eggs ( should the chicken feel like laying). Fresh milk available upon request(24 hr notice period)
Once in a while you will be lucky to sight a giraffe or two or twenty during a late evening walk. Should the craving strike you could hop over to our neighbours 1km away for ziplining or stay put and throw something on the grill.

The space
The space is a two bedroomed farmhouse and sleeps 4 comfortably. 6 if two people don't mind crashing on the couch. (This would have to be indicated prior to booking as a special request).
The place is off grid and we have made a conscious effort to still provide the comforts of home. Electricity to charge your phone or laptop or power bank is available 6pm to 7am courtesy of a solar powered battery. The same system powers the lighting. Hot water to shower has been made possible courtesy of a gas heater.

There is no shortage of outdoor seating, either on the verandah or under the acacia trees. We have an outdoor cooking area complete with a space to dine Al Fresco.

Where you’ll be

Nairobi, Kajiado County, Kenya

The farmhouse is in the middle of the maasai community dwelling. With neighbours far enough for privacy but close enough for comfort. Walking distance from the Kisamis Giraffe camp popular for ziplining and team building activities.
Farming has become a popular activity among the neighbors and you are at liberty to take a stroll around the neighbourhood. You may just get lucky and sight a few giraffes while you are at it.

14km drive from the Kompass Bar in Ngong Town
Hiking at the windmill farm governed by Kenya Wildlife Service.
Local dining and bar located at Kimuka Trading if you fancy the local cuisine washed down with a cold drink.
