We'd like to welcome you to this special place we created to share with others. Out of Bounds is a tiny home located on Bald Peak overlooking the Chehalem Valley and minutes from wineries . Situated in a woodland setting and not far from the city. It’s just enough to feel the ambiance of nature and the nurturing of the outdoors. We're in the city of Hillsboro, Yamhill County in a private community. You won't hear much except the birds or coyote's in the evenings. It truly feels like an escape.

Our property consists of a log cabin which we call home. On the opposite end of the property is where Out of Bounds is situated. Surrounded by Douglas fir trees you'll feel like you're part of nature. The tiny house allows you to experience the comforts of a clean and comfortable indoor space that is situated in the woods. Out of Bounds has the comforts of a house in it's 150 square feet of space. It offers a tiny kitchen, a bathroom with a shower and a queen size bed in the loft that is accessible by ladder. There's a cozy living space as you enter with a fold up table that can be used to dine or work. All decorated with a modern cabin feel, white linens, and even a electric heater that resembles a fireplace. Outside we've created an outdoor seating space with a fire pit, lights, and table to cozy up and enjoy a glass of wine or cool beer. You get the picture. Included for you to enjoy is a separate indoor/outdoor space that you can walk to. It is built mostly of windows and has a gas firepit for you to relax to. Enjoy this space and have a drink, read, or play a board game.

The private community is surrounded by wineries. Some are 3-5 minutes away. If you plan to do wine tastings this is the perfect place to rest. Our favorite Distillery is right down the road, and if you're into breweries then you have to check out our local favorite. The community has a private road and consist of residents with acreage therefore you have lots of privacy. The main street is paved but once you get to our property has gravel. We are the first property on the gravel road t so you won't have to go far. You can enjoy morning walks without traffic.

My husband Rob and I are your hosts. We live on the property in a log cabin with two dogs. We spend a lot of time outdoors and both enjoy the work it takes to maintain a beautiful and natural environment. Each season has it's challenges and blessings. The spring brings life and the winter means we get cozy. Living in the woods isn't new to us and you can say we were born to do so. We're both naturally outgoing so the idea of sharing the land and forest around us with others was a given. We truly believe that this environment offers a change of pace and mindset.

We do live on the property and are there if guests need anything. Such as extra linens or information. Out of Bounds is your space. We have created trails around the property that you're welcome to use. They're great for a morning walk or jog.
We have two dogs that remain near the house and periodically we let them out to roam the property or walk the trials. This maybe the only time we run into each other. We're conscious of you time and space so we work around that.
