A charming rustic villa in an amazing setting

The space
Villa Angelina is surrounded by the green hills of the beautiful Cilento region. The villa is in a quiet area and enjoys plenty of privacy. The only sound you will hear in the evenings is flowing water and a grasshopper or two. The 18th century villa has been renovated with great care by the owner. It is pleasantly furnished. There is a large swimming pool in the spacious, private garden. There is a terrace which is perfect for outdoor dining and a BBQ. The Cilento region is a combination of unspoiled nature and a unique cultural heritage. The scenery abounds with pine trees, orchids, rosemary, lavender, wild thyme, juniper berries, cypresses and yellow broom. You'll discover fascinating caves along the coast. You can also enjoy long sandy beaches, high mountains, valleys and extensive woods with hazelnut and olive trees. There is a wealth of flowering plants in spring and an abundance of mushrooms and other fungi in autumn. The region's unique culture is reflected in the excellent regional cuisine and the delightful, traditional atmosphere in the surrounding small villages.

The Villa is located on a hill at about 656m above the sea level in a locality called Pantano within the municipality of Sessa Cilento. Beautiful nature surrounds the house and rest assured to enjoy a vacation of tranquility. Although away from everything, is still not very far from amenities and the closest town is at about 5km away.

I am very passionate about Cilento and everything that it means. Due to work, I moved to the UK in 2010, but this doesn't stop me from being you Superhost from afar. My mother will usually welcome you on your first day, and you will be very well looked after by all. We also allow for self check-in and this can be arranged prior your arrival and over the phone. Once there, sit back, relax and enjoy the calm!

I personally leave in the UK but my family will look after you. Times and days for the cleaning of the pool and watering the garden can be arranged at check-in
