About me:
A holistic coach and consultant and a nature and ocean enthusiast, I have lived on Martha's Vineyard full time for 30 years now - and vacationed there for a decade before as a child. In my heart, Martha's Vineyard has always been my home. I fell in love with both of these homes immediately when I found them - they were much more than houses. For decades, I had an award winning massage center in our Oak Bluffs home, and people often comment on its oasis-like feel. Our historic Vineyard Haven home was owned by a school principal and his wife and children. The energy in that one is truly special - incredibly comfortable, but also gracious with beautiful, high ceilings.
My favorite Oak Bluffs morning routine is to go for a run through the beautiful nature trails a short jog away, enjoy a smoothie in the hot tub, then mosey down the street to our local coffee shop for a wonderful cuppa and a hello to other locals and visitors gathering there.
My nieces and nephews on the other hand, get far more excited in our OB house about the late afternoon or after dinner Back Door Donuts almost across the street, or a walk down to the arcade and ice cream shop to enjoy their ice cream cones while watching the nightlife walk by on Circuit Ave.
From the Vineyard Haven house, we love to walk down to the lagoon, or the tiny beach down a dirt road from there to see early morning birds, then to to Main Street for our cuppa, or evening walks after cooking out on the deck the amazing MV Film Center in town.
Why this location?
Oak Bluffs is my home and there is no location on Martha's Vineyard like it. With its coffee shops, restaurants and shops in town, the beach just a couple of blocks away, Ocean park separating the house from the ocean, the Tabernacle a block in the other direction, the Flying Horses carousel for children, Union Chapel with its performances and the harbor just down the street, for me it just doesn't get any better than this.
But I DO love our Vineyard Haven location for its gorgeous homes, studio, hilltop breezes and peaceful expanse of green, while also being a short walk from everything wonderful - water, town, shops, restaurants. I'm constantly enjoying both towns and homes - and love the variety - and our repeat guests do too! They come to both locations and adore them both.
Our Vineyard Haven home houses transformational holistic retreats, and the property holds that energy. It's a Vineyard oasis.
Unique benefits to this rental:
Coaching consultations are available by appointment. Appointments should be booked well in advance to assure availability.
Above all, we hear regularly how truly memorable and special our guests stays are. Our hospitality is from the heart, and for the love of sharing this beauty - and that feedback means everything to us. We hope these homes can become that for you too.
