Great location
100% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
The Barn is a beautiful Pembrokeshire blue stone longhouse in an idyllic setting within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and a 15 minute walk from the infamous Coastal Path! With scenic coastal walks right on your doorstep the rugged, elemental beauty of the coastline with its amazing views, coves, beaches and wildlife is yours to explore! Steeped in history and away from it all yet easily accessible by car, train and even the ferry from Ireland! Your piece of Welsh paradise awaits!

The space
Tradition meets modern. The Barn was converted from a former longhouse in 2016, is finished to a very high standard, is tastefully furnished and its open plan spaciousness is enhanced by the exposed A frames. Truly family friendly accommodation and enjoying modern comforts such as two bathrooms, underfloor heating and fully equipped kitchen, the Barn is part of a small complex of traditional agricultural buildings that enjoy complete privacy from one another. The Barn has its own enclosed garden and dedicated parking for two cars. Guests are invited to explore the adjoining 6+ acres of land and enjoy the views across to the Preseli hills!

Where you’ll be

Llanwnda, Wales, United Kingdom

Trefechan Wen, a former farm, comprises three separate detached dwellings of which the Barn is one, all within a very private six acre site. Set within the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and a short drive from the Preseli Mountains, the opportunity to explore and enjoy the natural beauty and history of the area is almost without limit. The village of Llanwnda is less than a mile from the small seaside town of Goodwick with its ferry port which provides daily service to Ireland. Local amenities include a small supermarket where you can stock up on essentials, a garage, pharmacy, pubs and restaurants. There is a larger range of shops in nearby Fishguard, just another mile distant.

Having an appreciation of ‘what really matters' and a preference for a calm and peaceful environment, Bev and I endeavour to provide that 'little extra' for our guests. The same small things that we value when we travel. We welcome you to our home, understand that everyone has different needs, wants and expectations, and respect both the need for privacy and for social interaction. I have a healthy passion for cycling and am happy to share that with guests if they wish to join me for a gentle spin on local roads. The AirBnB experience is even better when it connects you with some really great people!
