Experience the raw Canadian beauty of Georgian Bay at this spacious waterfront hide-a-way. Crystal clear water with excellent swimming. You’ll see small families of geese swim by to say hi as you gaze out in one direction at the ever changing shades of Blue Mountain in the distance or the open water of the Great Lakes in the other direction where the sun sets into the water.

The space
Enter the property through the stone gate under a canopy of oak, maple and cedar trees. Play on the front or back lawn or lounge by the water at sunset. You’ll likely not see a neighbor but maybe the occasional boat...

Where you’ll be

Tiny, Ontario, Canada

Get fresh eggs from the local farmer up the hill and check out the horses , or go a half mile more down the road for fresh vegetables, free range chickens etc... or visit the local friendly francophone town of Lafontaine nearby (10 min) with a Liquor/ beer store and Wendy Bs specialty food store when you don’t feel like cooking.

There’s also an excellent European deli at nearby beach even closer.

There are 4 large parks that are part of and exclusive to this beach community, perfect for a post lunch stroll or to bird and animal watch.

Full service marina is 5 min walk from the house.

Nearby mountain bike trails, three golf courses, snowmobiling, cross country skiing or even downhill skiing 40 min away.

There’s a ferry 15 min away that takes you to Christian Island, home to the Beausoleil First Nations people. Take a day trip to visit the north beach or explore by mountain bike.

Visit one of the earliest settlements in this part of Canada and the rebuilt native/Jesuit settlement of Ste Marie-amongst-the-Hurons.

Full civilization with banks and major superstores 20 min away in the twin picturesque towns of Penetanguishene and Midland. Take a boat tour of the 10,000 islands of Georgian Bay or just grab a bite and relax at one of the harbourfront dock lunch spots.
