In a house with three other people, this is a cozy small 1-person private room with a single bed. There is a shared bathroom, no cooking, but you are welcome to use the microwave. We live in a nice, friendly area with shops and restaurants. Zandvoort, Haarlem, and Amsterdam are all nearby. Free bike use to get to the train station or to Haarlem.

The space
We live 20 km from Amsterdam (train from station Heemstede about 4,5 euro single fare), 7 km from the beaches and dunes of Bloemendaal and Zandvoort and 2 km from the historic city of Haarlem. Room is just for sleeping and resting, because it is very small, yet cozy and with a nice view. No breakfast. Bakery, deli, restaurants, etc. are just round the corner.

We (3 persons) live in a friendly suburb close to the historical city of Haarlem, 8 km from the dunes and the sea and 20 km from our capital Amsterdam. You will have a (small) private room with a single bed and you will share bathroom and toilet. No cooking but you are welcome to use the micowave to heat up a ready meal. Just around the corner you'll find a supermarket and lots of other shops and some restaurants. You can rent a bike at the station to go to Haarlem or to the beach. Go have a pancake Dutch style or take the train to Amsterdam with all the museums, canals, coffeeshops and fun. I love to meet new people from all over the world and to stay with them when I travel. I really enjoy being a host to people, especially young people or those who are young of heart. So it is nice to welcome you to our house as a guest. We have a cat and a piano. Minimum stay 2 nights.

I interact just as much as you feel comfortable with, but with mutual respect of privacy. We like to talk with our guests when they choose to eat with us (6 euro). Of course if you have any questions or wishes I'll be happy to help you out.
