Guests often search for this popular amenity
If you're into camping with a bit more security, then this is the place for you. However, if you're just looking for a cheaper alternative to a Hotel then the Pod is not a good choice. It's not the Ritz but it has character. There is a fully functioning shower but it is squat due to the style of the pod.

The space
We offer a gas and charcoal BBQ for use with outdoor seating and a patio heater. There are two award winning family butchers in the town with a local shop and a great little Café just a minutes walk from the pod. There are several restaurants with outdoor seating and two other grocery stores located in the town which is only a five minute stroll.

Where you’ll be

Oughterard, County Galway, Ireland

Oughterard is the gateway town to Connemara, the beautiful Owenriff river flows through the town and into Lough Corrib. Just a short walk from the Pod is the Golden mile, a heritage walk which takes you across the Owenriff and along places of natural and cultural importance. There are several excellent restaurants to suit all budgets and shops within a five minute walk from the Pod. Bridgit's garden in Rosscahill is a 10 min drive away and is a great hidden treasure for all ages.
