The space
The two-level flat is on the second and last floor of a building located on the sea front. It consists of a large entrance, a living room with a balcony on the sea, two double bedrooms, a room with a extra sofa bed for two people and two bathrooms of which one is en-suite.

The whole of the island of Ortigia is an open-air museum. The flat is located in the touristic heart of Ortigia between the Fountain of Arethusa and the Maniace Castle. The small beach of Calarossa is 200 m away and other public and private beaches are also within walking distance. In the nearby streets many bars and restaurants offering excellent food in a lively district.

About fifteen years ago we discovered Syracuse, a magnificent summary of the Mediterranean, former Greeks in the Baroque, bathed in a sparkling sea. As a result, we kept coming back regularly and finally acquired this apartment in Ortigia on the Porto Grande, between Maniace Castle and Aréthuse Fountain. The apartment, located on the seafront and enjoying a SO exposure, is bathed in light throughout the day. The rooftop terrace and living room balcony offer exceptional views of the bay.

Fifteen years ago we discovered Syracuse, a magnificient synthesis of the Mediterranean, from the ancient Greeks to Barocco, bathed by a turquoise sea. Since then we came back regularly until we eventually bought this flat in Ortigia on the Porto Grande between the Maniace Castle and the fountain of Arethusa. The flat, located on the seafront with a SW exposure, is bathed by the light at all times of the day. From the roof terrace and from the balcony of the leaving room you can enjoy a fantastic view of the bay.
