Conveniently located in the heart of Bethesda, my bijou space will take you to the middle of the urban scene. It is close to shops, restaurants, supermarkets and everything you need. Oh, and the Bethesda Metro stop is less than a 7 minute walk away.

While small overall, its ample one-bedroom and comfy one-bath will provide the roomy space you cannot easily obtain in a downtown location, and its well appointed kitchen will provide everything you need to cook a feats. Welcome to Bethesda!

The space
This wonderful downtown Bethesda flat was my refuge when I was living in the DC area before moving away for business. The apartment is so conveniently located that I feel such an awesome place would be an awful thing to waste. It is for this reason that I chose to open it up to you.

The mid-rise apartment building is within walking distance of a Harris Teeter (supermarket), the Bethesda metro station, a CVS (pharmacy) just across the street, and there is ample public parking within one or two blocks.

As you'd expect, the apartment is almost brand new. I prefer a minimalist approach to interior decoration, providing a comfortable surrounding, yet, omitting excess. Fast Internet signal is strong in every corner of the flat, so you won't have any issues to stream Netflix or anything else if that's your thing.

Help yourself to use any cooking essentials, and please pay it forward by leaving non-perishables to other future guests. Kitchen appliances are all energy-efficient and new, and I am certain you will find everything you need to cook a feast. However, should you have any special requests, please let me know prior to your arrival, and I will try to do whatever I can to oblige.

The bedroom has a small walk-in closet and a comfortable and cozy queen-size bed. In addition, the living room has a sofa bed, if not all member of your party are intimately related. There is a small desk by the sliding window if working is in your cards while visiting town.

You will be staying smack in the middle of downtown Bethesda, one of the wealthiest and most cosmopolitan suburbs of Washington, DC. The flat is literally within minutes of the metro station connecting downtown and its northern suburbs, shopping centers, supermarkets, restaurants, nightlife, cinemas, places of culture, and everything you expect from an urban environment.

This neighborhood is for walking, enjoying its light urban scene, and profiting from a wonderful and safe area.

During your stay

As our home is available during my absence from the US, chances are I may not be able to greet you in person. However, I have made prior arrangements to have an experienced Airbnb Superhost to oversee and upkeep the place. He will make it a point to greet you upon arrival if need be, and will be available to answer any question you may have prior to and during your stay. He only lives about 10 minutes away.

If need be, I will also be available online to answer any questions you may have and provide you with instructions and advice if requested via text or phone. However, once you've been greeted and have had your questions answered, you will have complete privacy during your stay.
