Cozy 1970's vintage Airstream (named Stevie), located on our "mini-ranch". She comes complete with an outdoor shower, bathtub and sauna, furnished with local handmade pottery, bathroom with full sized shower and flushing toilet, queen bed, twin sofa bed, cable and wifi, fire pit, horseshoes, and 3 dwarf goats! Located in Gibsons on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, BC right next to our bud "Arlo" a '72 Streamline, also available on Airbnb.

The space
The only Airstream to rent in Gibsons - “Stevie” has a clean yet fun modern retro vibe. PERFECT for couples who love a taste of adventure and the occasional Instagrammable moment ;)

The sun-drenched private deck is ideal for lounging, getting some sun, and enjoying a delicious local beer. There is an outdoor table with stools to enjoy your meal, or to sit around the fire to roast marshmallows.

A few steps away from the Airstream you'll find Sonny, Biscuit, and Reggie, our resident dwarf goats. They are all very sweet and fun to watch from the bathroom, deck, or yard.

There is a cedar lined outdoor shower, and a cowboy style soaking tub with convenient hand shower as well. Kick back and enjoy some yard games in the grass yard area with a bocce set, and of course horseshoe pits!

The spacious sauna complete with skylight, is ideal for resting your tired bones after a hard day of hitting the local trails, parks, breweries, and restaurants.

The Airstream comes with a small food prep counter, with a sink, mini fridge, pour over coffee maker, kettle, and toaster, plus all of the essential utensils for eating/drinking, like local pottery from Barter. It doesn't have a stove/cooktop, but we do have an outdoor BBQ. Complimentary coffee and tea are included in your stay.

The comfy bed is complete with beautiful French linen sheets and four pillows.

The bathroom has a full sized shower, and a proper flushable toilet. Stocked with local soaps, shampoo, and conditioner. Also stocked with a hair dryer and iron.

The living room area has a small laptop friendly desk, couch, and TV with cable. Other amenities include a wireless speaker, wifi, games, heat and air-conditioning, as well as safety measures such as fire/carbon monoxide alarm and a first aid kit.

The property is located at one of the highest parts of Gibsons, and is on a rural type road with several horse properties, hobby farms, and a small veggie farm nearby. Just 2 kms down the hill is one of the main malls with an IGA grocery store, The Blackfish cold beer and wine store, a host of other shops, and the medical clinic. Persephone Brewing is about a 15 minute walk away.

About a 5 min drive away is Lower Gibsons. The best place for a relaxing walk along the marina. You can find amazing coffee at Beachcomber Coffee, ice cream at Mike's Place, local beer at Tapworks Brewery, incredible food at Lunitas and Smitty's, among other great restaurants and businesses.

We are considered to be more rural than in town, we have neighbouring acreages on both sides of the road. Our sister trailer "Arlo" is set up close by, and has it's own private spot, with no shared amenities. While you may occasionally hear noises of our neighbourhood and property, we ask all guests to enjoy our space in a way that is respectful of us as residents, and our wonderful neighbours. This is not a large property, and we will be coming and going down the driveway to go to work, school, etc.

There are many stunning hikes around the Gibsons area, such as Soames Hill. Great mountain biking trails as well. Let us know if you'd like any recommendations!

Hey we’re Dave and Ashlee! local residents, business owners, and suckers for a project! This property and the airstream has been a big process to say the least, but is truly a labour of love. Our family has always thought it would be great to have a little spot to go and camp as often as possible, we just never thought it would be 5 minutes from our home!
