The Palmer's Guest House is a beautifully furnished, quaint and cozy cottage nestled in the charming historic district of San Marcos. We are located just four blocks from the downtown square and Texas State University, with convenient access to the Outlet Malls and the San Marcos River. Multiple restaurants, cafe's, coffee shops, a grocery store, laundromat, and a gas station with a convenience store are all within walking distance.

The space
The Palmer's Guest House is right next door to the famous Palmer's Restaurant, Bar and Courtyard which has been serving the best in Hill Country cuisine since 1978. Come enjoy a taste of the Hill Country and all the best that San Marcos has to offer! Our "Palmer's Welcome Package" is included free with any two night booking. The package includes a welcome bottle of Texas wine in the cottage upon your arrival and a $30 Gift certificate to use next door at Palmer's anytime during your stay.
