Rural Retreat

Welcome to Simpson Ridge Farm

Come stay at our Amish-built cabin, nestled on a 3rd generation family-owned farm, in the heart of the pastoral Kentucky bluegrass.

Take in the tranquil views on the front porch or back deck, as your surrounded by God's creations.

This 420 sq. ft cozy retreat offers a comfortable queen size bed, full bath with walk-in shower, WiFi, and an equipped kitchen.

Convenient location minutes from The Ark Encounter, Exit 154
on I-75 in Williamstown, Ky.

The space
Life is little slower on Simpson Ridge. Don’t be alarmed when folks wave at you as they pass by the cabin. Watch the hay be cut and baled, or the tobacco set, cut or housed or enjoy cattle and horses walking the fields. A perfect retreat for busy guests.
Named after my husband’s grandmother, Mabel Simpson, we welcome you as she welcomed every member of her family, with heartfelt affection and a smile.
Let us know if you need anything to make your stay more perfect.
Thank you for choosing Mabel’s Cabin

We have lived in Grant county all our lives. We love to farm our land and raise a big garden. We have cattle, chickens, and raise border collies here on our 100 acres. I love to sew and hunt for antiques. Maybe our guests can shop my barn for unique antiques and handmade decor. If you see something in the cabin with a price tag it’s probably for sale. Just let me know if your interested.
