The Hoge Berg - the oldest and most beautiful piece of Texel! Here we have built a beautiful studio behind our house in the hope that you can experience this for yourself. A private garden and entrance; you have all the privacy.
Everything is new and clean. We will regretfully be unable to provide your breakfast. But there is a kitchenette with plenty of amenities.
We have a women's and men's bike that you can rent.
Please note - tourist tax to be paid separately upon arrival.

The space
The BnB consists of a bedroom with adjoining bathroom. Via the path along the garden wall, you walk to the thatched-covered studio with its own garden. In the studio with French doors there is a box spring (160x200), a kitchenette with fridge, small oven, coffee/tea making facilities (no stove or hob), a seating area and a nice bathroom with shower and toilet. The high ceiling with skylight makes the room beautiful light. In the garden there are two luxurious relaxation chairs where you can relax and enjoy nature. There is a smart TV with Netflix. (no regular channels)
There is a folder with information about delivering and picking up restaurants.

Where you’ll be

Den Burg, Noord-Holland, Netherlands

Between Den Burg and Oudeschild, the hilly landscape is protected with the characteristic garden walls, drinking columns and sheep pens. On the east side there are a few bushes, of which the Doolhof is the best known. This is also the only insect reserve in the Netherlands: the Sandpit. There are beautiful hiking trails through the area.

Behind the Waddendijk is a lovely beach - 5 minutes cycling.

With 10 minutes cycling you reach Den Burg, the capital of Texel with lots of nice shops. The other way is Oudeschild, the harbour village.

Should you still want to take a walk in the evening in the low evening light (the meadows are then at their most beautiful) with 15 minutes walk you are on the dike on the Wadden Sea.
