The “Avenues” of Hattiesburg is a very friendly neighborhood. Residents are often seen walking their dogs or going for a run. The surrounding area has a lot of local restaurantes, cafés, & bars and you can often find somewhere nearby with live music. All of this is coupled with a quiet and relaxing atmosphere in the neighborhood itself!

I stayed in my first Airbnb in December of 2013. I love Airbnb’s unique platform for traveling and hosting. I’ve found hosting my own Airbnb to be a very rewarding experience and love feeling a part of such a special community.

My favorite Airbnb stay has been the ‘Malibu Escapes - Cloud Studio Suite’ we stayed in for our honeymoon. My favorite aspect of being a host has been interacting with all of our wonderful guests and learning what brings them to or through Hattiesburg.
