Have you watched those Tiny House shows and wondered what it would be like to live in a tiny? Or do you just need a break away from it all? Escape here, where social distancing is easy to do, and try on tiny house living!

Come reset in the serenity our tiny home has to offer--Listen to the sea breeze through the trees, walk along the beach to explore low tide, cozy up by the fire pit to make s'mores or dine al fresco. Our tiny house may be small, but it has lots to offer; inside and out!

The space
First, we live out in the boonies, so be aware our location isn't someplace you go to stay if you want everything close and nearby (though the closest amenities by car are within 15 mins of the home, it can seem further).

We recently planted grass and will need to water once a day, unless it has been raining and we may need to mow during your stay.

So, if that doesn't turn you off, keep reading.

Try tiny house living in our 2020 custom-built 42' gooseneck Mint Tiny Home. It's probably the biggest tiny house you'll ever see, featuring three sleeping areas; one queen bed in the main loft, one twin bed in the secondary loft, and a twin bed in the gooseneck room.

All pillows and blankets on beds are down-alternative, and all sheets are 100% cotton.

In our bathroom, you'll find a full-size stand-up shower with glass surround, sink vanity, standard flushing toilet, and all the basic toiletries including towels, beach towels, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

The kitchen has everything you need to make yourself at home! We have a three-burner propane gas range, propane gas oven for baking, full-size refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven/air fryer, instant pot, espresso maker, French press coffee maker, and electric kettle. We also have dishes, silverware, spices, other pantry basics, as well as tea (organic black and green), and coffee.

We have two stools under the built-in dining/work station area for you to eat or work remotely from the tiny home while enjoying the relaxing views outside the picture window.

In our living room, we have a full-size sofa, with two pouf ottomans (and wooden trays) that can double as your coffee table. We also have a DVD player and Smart TV (Amazon Fire enabled).

In the summer, when we do get our warmer days, we have an air conditioner mini-split to keep the tiny house comfortable and cool, as well as two portable fans to keep the air circulating throughout the house.

Plus we are steps away from private beach access.

Where you’ll be

Lakebay, Washington, United States

We are located in a peaceful area on the Case Inlet in the Key Peninsula area. We have peekaboo views of the water (Puget Sound) and steps away from your own shared private beach. We are tucked away and in a secluded area, but still 30 mins to Gig Harbor (aka some may consider we are in the BOONIES).

Walk along the beach during low tide and explore the sea life that abounds--from sand dollars to squirting geoduck (and occasionally a pod of orcas, if you're lucky).

It's a little oasis of tranquility for those looking to relax and reset from city life, and if you're a writer or artist, you may find this to be a great place to find inspiration as we have many local artists who live nearby. (Check out the Key Peninsula Art League)

I'm a jack of all trades who loves to travel and make new friends.

I've been a police officer, firefighter, worked in tech, and was a stay-at-home mom for many years; but now I'm a Realtor, flight attendant, and mom to teenagers, and a rescue dog, Mochi.

I've been fortunate to live in South Korea when I was very young, and grow up in San Francisco. Life eventually brought me to the beautiful state of Washington, where I've lived for almost 20 years!

My love of travel started young and it hasn't slowed down one bit, so I'm excited to explore more.

As a traveler:
My life philosophy is the best way to get to know the place you're visiting is to live like a local; exchange ideas, culture, and food with an open mind and open heart.

As a Host:
I took my philosophy of life/travel and connected it as an Airbnb host. I have loved meeting so many great guests, many who have become friends!

My home is your home, so I hope you feel welcomed and well cared for during your stay.

During your stay

We live across from the tiny, so we are happy to help with anything you may need during your stay. We would love to be social and meet you, but we will leave it up to you how much interaction you'd like from us. We want to respect your privacy and time during your staying at the tiny home. We may need to come over to the property from time to time to work on things and/or to maintain the exterior garden area and blow leaves, etc.
