One of a handful of private waterfront cottages on East Lake, our 3 bedroom hidden gem is the perfect place to enjoy a holiday with your own peaceful waterfront, large yard & 75’ of shallow shoreline. A traditional cottage w/hardwood floors, a spacious deck & a wide open view of the lake. Use the family sized Napoleon bbq or the rustic fire pit to roast hot dogs at the bonfire while watching the sun set. Also, you'll find 2 kayaks & 2 paddleboards here at the cottage, ready for your fun!

The space
The location is perfect, the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, only 10 min to Sandbanks Park & 10 min to Picton. You won't find a better location for your cottage holiday on East Lake.

The cottage has 3 bedrooms. The upstairs bedroom has a double bed, while the lower level has two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with two singles. There is 3 piece bath on the main floor and a 2 piece on the lower level.

The KITCHEN is fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, spices, condiments and paper towels. Please note that there is no regular oven, there is a new Hamilton Beach convection, air fryer, toaster oven. There is a king size Napoleon bbq with a side burner.

The MAIN FLOOR has an abundance of fresh air and natural light thanks to two sets of patio doors that open onto a spacious deck. And no matter where you are sitting you’ll have an awesome view of East Lake.

ENTERTAINING & RELAXING There is a large yard where you can enjoy some quiet time on the deck while the kids play. Or, you can swim, fish, kayak, or paddle board. East Lake is well known for fishing, including pickerel, perch, bass, pike and bluegill. In the evening everyone can relax around the bonfire and find the Milky Way.

There is a Smart TV and wifi, there is no cable or satellite. Please be aware that rural internet service can sometimes be slow, and you may want to hotspot with your own provider.

We provide a complimentary Sandbanks Provincial Park day pass to use during your stay. Please note that you will be charged a replacement fee of $120 if the pass is lost or not returned at check out.

You will be super close to everything the County has to offer – the famous Arts and Taste Trails, award winning wineries, restaurants, bars, craft breweries, distilleries, art galleries, live theatre, walking/biking trails, fishing, canoeing, paddle boarding, or kayaking. And only a 5 minute walk to The Store in Cherry Valley for their awesome ice cream cones. The Store is now an LCBO outlet so it’s easy to restock your beverages without going into town.

Hello – we are your hosts Don and Linda – and Prince Edward County is our home.
Linda is a 6th generation County Girl and was born and raised here, and even had a summer job at the Sandbanks Park in the crazy 70’s, so she can share plenty of County backroad secrets and local tips. Swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, windsurfing on East Lake, hiking the dunes at Sandbanks Park, and exploring the wineries, craft breweries, and restaurants are a few of the things we love to do. And also catching lots of great local music. We also love to travel, and Airbnb has been a big help to us. We’ve enjoyed living on East Lake for more than 15 years, and we're very happy to be able share it with you!
