Where you’ll be

Kaiwhata, Wellington, New Zealand

Ti Tree is close to Homewood, and a short drive to Riversdale Beach where surf lifesavers monitor the beach. Surf casting or diving is always an option.
The famous Castlepoint Lighthouse makes a lovely 1/2 or day trip as do walks to Honeycomb rock in the south. Walking opportunities are available on surrounding farm land.
There maybe an opportunity to be given a tour of local farmland where the chances of seeing deer in the wild are likely.

My husband Joe and I have hosted guests at two previous locations and as we have retired to a rural setting decided to re design our home to hosts guests in a completely self contained area for their privacy but offer dinner or drinks if they wish to socialise. The area is well equipped and full breakfast supplies and a few treats are provided. Joe was a DOC ranger for 50 years so has plenty of experience when it comes to advice on outdoor activities. I am enjoying rural life again but love to entertain where possible and enjoy creating a small but nice garden. We have travelled but not extensively. We do enjoy New Zealand travel .
