Only 53km from the Greater Toronto Area, and you can enjoy the beautiful sunset views of Lake Simcoe from this unique waterfront boat house, located in Beaverton Harbour on the shore of Lake Simcoe. This nature lovers paradise offers public swimming, boating, paddling, hiking and walking trails. There is a boat and kayak/canoe launch, beach, picnic area, splash pad, and docks in the Harbour and Barney's Restaurant for takeout meals, ice and ice cream cones.

The space
This self contained unit is surrounded by water with fantastic views of Lake Simcoe from both front and back upper decks. You can enjoy the sunset views from almost every direction and watch the boats coming and going from the Harbour. There is reliable high speed internet, a 40" wall mounted HD TV with Rogers cable and music service, a BlueRay/DVD player to watch movies. The spacious kitchen has lots of counter space, a fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster oven, electric stove, coffee pot, blender, slow cooker, rice cooker, cookware, bakeware and utensils. There is outdoor seating on both front and back decks. The children's splash pad is located directly across the road. There is central air-conditioning and heating. All windows have room darkening blinds and curtains. (There is no automatic clothes washer/dryer or dish washer.) This suite is located on the 2nd floor of a boathouse located on the water in "cottage country". The public beach shown is only steps away and is operated by Brock Township for residents only. Although we make every effort possible common seasonal outdoor insects cannot be completely avoided.
