Charming apartment located on an exquisite equestrian estate. Drive up the 1/4 mile winding drive way lined with 100 year old camellias and azaleas to relaxation station. For those looking to explore nature there are trails cut out on the side and two ponds if you choose to walk around. There is also a creek that wraps the back half of this tranquil property. If you want to get out we are only 12-15 minutes away from downtown Covington. Where you can shop, eat, bike, & explore the city.

The space
The property sits on 42.9 acres. It has two bedrooms with queen beds that share one bathroom. The living room and kitchen have ample space for cooking or relaxing. Wifi is through out the whole apartment. We do not have cable, but every TV has a chromecast. Prepare to hear beautiful birds singing, woodpeckers pecking, and the occasional friendly neigh from the horses. You might see rabbits and an occasional deer wandering about if you choose to explore the property. The property is located about 12-15 minutes from downtown Covington. Where you can rent bikes and go down the Tammany Trace. You can also eat at some wonderfully delicious restaurants, visit some local bars, shop at cute local boutiques, or visit the farmers market on Wednesday and Saturday. For the avid equestrian we are very close to Amens Corner, Serenity, Lagniappe, and Hunters Bluff. Even if your not one they have horse shows at those locations regularly if you are looking for something different to see. We are also about 15 minutes away from Global Wildlife where you can see and feed giraffes and zebras. Abita Springs is close by. So close you can even bike there, take a tour of the Abita brewing facility, and enjoy a flight of beer afterwards. NO OUTSIDE GUEST on property unless cleared with us ahead of time. We do feel that we should mention that the property does have an old grave yard on it from the original family that founded Tara Hill.

The property sits on 42.9 acres on Hwy 40. We are located around several large farms. Including the beautiful Summer Grove Farm that houses several polo tournaments. Also we are very close to all the horse show grounds. The property is also located about 12-15 minutes from downtown Covington. Where you can rent bikes and go down the Tammany Trace. You can also eat at some wonderfully delicious restaurants, visit some local bars, shop at cute local boutiques, or visit the farmers market on Wednesday and Saturday. The Southern Hotel is a wonderful place to explore as well as Smith and sons museum. Some restaurant favorites are the English Tea Room, Coffee Rani, Meribo, Ox Lot 9 and Aki. We are about 15 minutes away from Global Wildlife where you can see and feed giraffes and zebras. Abita Springs is close by. So close you can even bike there, take a tour of the Abita brewing facility, and enjoy a flight of beer afterwards.
