In the heart of Naramata Bench, Chardonnay Lakeview Studio enjoys a stunning view of nearby vineyards, Okanagan Lake, and countless mountains. This 530-square foot, standalone unit is on a vineyard property, growing Chardonnay and other varietals, and was designed as a contemporary retreat for a couple or a single person. Located just off Naramata Road, it is a short stroll or drive from numerous wineries, Legends Distillery, Naramata village, swimming beaches and KVR walking/biking trails.

The space
This newly renovated, open concept, contemporary space has its own private entrance. The entrance way includes storage space, European-style washer and drier, and a private bathroom with tiled shower.

The kitchen is fully equipped with basic cooking supplies (olive oil, salt, pepper), kettle, toaster, tea pot, french press, Black & Decker coffee machine, microwave, full stove, fridge/freezer, and dish washer. Coffee and organic loose leaf tea provided.

Off the living room, there is the sleeping nook with a comfortable queen size bed and extra pillows and blankets in the drawers under the bed. For your convenience, there is a dresser with hangers to store your bags/clothes.

Quaint dining table with two chairs to enjoy your home-cooked meal or an evening game of cards. Relax on the couch with a book and enjoy stunning views through the sliding glass doors or cozy up for the evening and watch your favourite Netflix series on the flat-screen t.v. (no cable). Relax on the private patio with a glass of wine in hand and enjoy sunset views overlooking the lake and mountains. Once you get settled in to the Okanagan lifestyle, you won’t want to leave!

The cottage is located in Naramata, British Columbia, Canada. We are about a 35 minute walk to sleepy Naramata village with several coffee shops and family dining restaurants, small convenience store and Naramata Heritage Inn/Spa. Naramata neighborhood pub, Real Thing Pizza (an excellent pizza delivered to the door) and few fine dining winery restaurants are also located nearby.

We are about 5 to 15 minute walk from JoieFarm Winery, Van Westen Vineyards, Elephant Island Winery, Deep Roots Vineyard, and a 5-minute walk to Legend Distilling.

Public beach at Manitou Park is about 15 minute walk downhill on a fairly steep gradient of Old Main Road. KVR walking/hiking and biking trails are uphill, 5 minute drive east on Arawana Road, with breath-taking vistas of the Okanagan Valley, lake and the mountains.

During your stay

My husband and I live on the same property in a separate house approximately 50 metres away. We have been living in the area for over 30 years and have a wealth of knowledge about local wineries, wine making, and nearby attractions, should you be interested. With that being said, your 530 square foot unit is completely private.
