>>> This lodging is for a PRIVATE GUEST BEDROOM; one of four guest rooms in my main house overlooking the rustic Palisades Tahoe, NOT an entire cabin, apartment or condo. My guest rooms have a shared bath between two guest rooms. It is not set up for groups renting multiple rooms.

Located in a quiet neighborhood on spacious 1/3 acre. Deck has panoramic views overlooking Palisades Tahoe/Squaw Valley ski area and is near Resort at Squaw Creek Conference Center. An easy walk (non-snow) to The Village at Palisades Tahoe/Scenic Cable Car. A charming "work from home" or locals lodging. I think you will find that this is a friendly, special place to stay. I love that many guests return again and again from all over the world. Sorry, due to my extreme allergies, no animals allowed on property.

My home is clean, has lots of light and one of the nicest views in Olympic Valley. It is welcoming; like staying with friends or relatives. With my studio next door, I often come to the main house to spend some time on my computer.

Take the spiral staircase to your cozy guest room, It has a SLEEP NUMBER KING bed w/ DUAL ADJUSTABILITY. Linens are provided, as well as hair dryer, and towels. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand sanitizer are in the bathroom. If you are a long term renter, housekeeper changes sheets and vacuum room weekly.

STAYING CONNECTED_WORK STATION: High-speed internet is throughout the cabin and your television is set up with NETFLIX via Fire Stick. There is an adjustable table and chair as a workstation in each guestroom with charging station outlets. House Quiet Time is 9pm to 7am; please do not do business/zoom calls during these hours.

SCENIC LIVING ROOM has 23 ft ceiling and walls of mostly glass. Enjoy the view of giant, rugged mountains that surrounds the valley!

KITCHEN and Kitchenette. Guests provide own food and drinks, spices, condiments, oils and butter.
-- Kitchenette/coffee station includes guest microwave and toaster, a personal mid-size refrigerator & pantry storage bin for your dry goods and personal/distanced dining tables.
AND
-- Full Kitchen. Well supplied with high-end appliances, dishes, glasses, pans and silverware. Includes professional gas range, cooking island with prep sink and toaster oven (bakes 14 in. pizza); no standard oven at this time. Restaurants and pubs nearby.

Summer time, enjoy a scenic deck including grand views; large umbrella and chairs await you. A great location for a cup of coffee in the morning. Work from your lap-top in the fresh mountain air. Or simply star-gaze at the Milky Way on dark cloud-free nights.

Winter time, I offer an IDEAL LOCATION. SO close to the slopes! Avoid the congested hour long commute to and from Truckee or Tahoe City and beyond. My home was purchased because it is SO near the slopes. It is less than a mile from the parking lot at Palisades Tahoe. And, mid-December to mid-April, the FREE Mountaineer Shuttle will pick you up right in front of my house and take you anywhere in the valley! Isn't this what you are looking for? The north shore of Lake Tahoe and especially Squaw Valley (Olympic Valley) have so much to offer. DO A SEARCH FOR NORTH LAKE TAHOE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE; they have web pages with local events and entertainment. I have a quiet neighborhood and wonderful views of Squaw Valley. Non-snow time, near hiking and biking trails, (BRING A BIKE or rent one nearby!) a short drive to Lake Tahoe for boating, river rafting, free beaches, and quaint little towns to discover. Wintertime, you will be just a few blocks to Squaw Valley USA. The free Mountaineer Shuttle will pick you up at the house and take you anywhere "on demand".... from dates in December through dates in April.
