Floating on the Thames is a lovely way to experience London. This flat is on a converted 32 meter shipping vessel and faces the water. It is quiet, warm and centrally located. Wake up or end the day sat by the water. It is 1 min walk from 2 supermarkets, barista, Indian, and Pub. 3 buses connects to Vauxhall (6 mins) & Clapham Junction (15mins), 1 min walk away. It is 50 mins to Gatwick Airport by public transport & 1.5 hours to Heathrow airport via public transport or 45 mins by Uber.

The space
This is a ship. Not a houseboat. There are three decks. You have access to the two small decks above the flat and a balcony outside the kitchen. The dining /living room/ kitchen is one space with water views. Your bedroom is below deck. 6 steps down the hatch to a big open plan bedroom. The bed folds up if you want a wrap around couch. The toilet has a three quarter bath tub. Funny to be floating in a bath while floating on the Thames.
The flat has its own entrance while there are two other flats on the boat you will enjoy privacy.

Located on the water. You are surrounded by boats, shops & flats. While the boats have been here for a hundred years the buildings have come recently. The developers have created nice landscaping below their Foster & partners designed flats. Being on the Thames walking path there is pleasant vibe with pedestrians meandering, for a coffee, feeding ducks in the morning or at the local pub in the evening. No noise activity before 9 am and pub shuts at 11 pm.
