Welcome to Mandy! Two bedrooms available for private stay in my mid-century modern Chinatown high-rise with balcony. Epic postcard views of the San Francisco skyline, including the Transamerica Pyramid and Coit Tower. Packed with books, art, neon, vintage video games, and vinyl records, it's a retro-inspired ('60s meets '80s?) oasis in the heart of SF.

PARKING -- Building has no garage and street parking is difficult. However, the Portsmouth Square Plaza Garage is two blocks away ($32/day).

The space
Corner unit in the only high-rise building in Chinatown. It has a queen size bed in the blue master bedroom, and a queen size bed in the gray bedroom/office.

Built-in coffee machine, washer/dryer, 48" smart TV, neon, stylish furnishings, and a pop-culture-savvy collection of books, art, and records from the ’80s and ’90s — along with a cocktail table arcade machine with 60 classic videogames — are just some of the personal retro touches and amenities.

It's also only a 5-minute walk to 4 other vibrant neighborhoods: North Beach, Financial District, Nob Hill, and Union Square.

Where you’ll be

San Francisco, California, United States

Get a little taste of Hong Kong, right in the middle of San Francisco! Chinatown is a vibrant neighborhood, filled with character, shops with cheap goods, and excellent dim sum. Plus, when you get tired of Chinatown, you are only a 5-minute walk from four other distinctive neighborhoods, or a quick bus/taxi/Uber/Lyft ride away from the rest of San Francisco.

I'm an event producer based in San Francisco. Basically, I throw parties for a living (in fact, if you're staying at my place in SF or LA, check to see if I can put you on the guest list for Bootie Mashup, the long-running party I produce every month!)

My professional and personal life keeps me out-of-town a lot, which isn't a bad thing, as I LOVE to travel. I stay at other Airbnbs wherever I go, and always treat the home the same way I hope guests treat my own place when I host.

Other random things about me (some of which you would probably figure out if you stay at my places): I'm a bit of an architecture geek and love tall buildings with views. I collect classic Atari 2600 videogames. I'm a DJ. I'm a sucker for mid-century modern design. I love pop culture and subculture. The older I get, the more picky I get about my coffee.
