The house is in the centre of Rashkov, on a tall bank of the Dniester river that flows past. Above is a view of the rocky slopes. There are ruins of an orthodox church and a synagogue, and an operating catholic church. Very friendly neighbours. Quiet and save surroundings. The town is the centre of many activities described in “With Fire and Sword” novel by Nobel prize winner Henryk Sienkiewicz. In the landscape, alongside beautiful nature, lie numerous reminders of the soviet past.

The space
The special meaning of the place is granted by the heritage of Sienkiewicz and by the sizeable Polish community inhabiting the area since XV century. Rashkov is a place where many cultures meet, which awaits its explorers.
