Welcome to our lovely family summer holiday home "Baltkrasti". We're happy to be able to welcome guests to this quiet and peaceful part of Latvian seaside.

The place has got all the comforts of a modern home while being able to enjoy the countryside of the same time. It's around a 2-hour drive away from Riga.

The space
We wanted to create a place that is minimalist and fits into the seaside surroundings perfectly while being very functional and efficient in the use of its space.

The house has all the necessary comforts of a modern home (power, hot water, air conditioning, fully-equipped kitchen, and so on) but is located in a dreamy seaside & forest location with nobody to disturb your holiday. Enjoy the lazy days and fall asleep to the peaceful sounds of the waves!

In the house, you'll find a separate bedroom with a Queen size bed (160x200cm) and ample closet space for all your belongings. Fresh bed linen and towels are provided to each guest.

The living & dining area is combined with the kitchen where you can prepare lovely meals for you and your travel companions. One more person can comfortably sleep on the convertible sofa bed. There's also a small fireplace in the living area, however, it's not possible to use it at the moment as it may cause damage to the windows. We made a conscious decision of not putting a TV into the space as the main goal is to allow you to unplug from your daily life.

The house has a compact bathroom with a nice standing shower and washing machine for when your laundry is due. Basic bathroom amenities are provided to each guest – toilet paper, soap, shampoo & shower gel.

There's also a lovely outside patio which you can use whenever the weather permits. Visit us and have your perfect seaside getaway! We prefer to host people for longer periods (7days+) but you can also get in touch if you'd like to stay for a shorter period.

OUR HOUSE RULES:
1) Sīkrags is a small community of people who like to spend their summertime in peace and quiet, so if you're looking for a party spot, it's not the right place.
2) Please keep the outside noise to a minimum after 8PM without any loud music not to bother the other neighbours that are closeby.
3) There are 2 cameras located at the property for the security of the home. However, they are turned off once you'll have successfully checked-in so you'll definitely have your privacy
4) As the home is located in an area with a very particular soil (rich in iron), the water from the tap has a yellow shade to it. It's perfectly safe to use for showers and washing dishes, however, you'll find a jug of drinking water at the property too. Just wanted to note it down here so you wouldn't be surprised upon arrival.

Sikrags is a part of the Slitere National Park and you're actually going to be staying at a nationally protected environment so please be very respectful to it and leave it the same way as you found it.

We don't live in Sikrags ourselves, so we'll try to assist you as much as we can remotely. We do, however, have friends in the village that helps with making the place ready for guests, so they will be able to help if any emergencies arise.
