4 Season cottage on the French River overlooking Wolseley Bay surrounded by crown land. Accommodations include 1800 sq ft cottage. Enjoy the seclusion and solitude of the bush. Enjoy year round activities such as swimming, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boating, snowmobiling, hiking or just relaxing with Mother Nature at your side. From June 12 until Labour Day weekend reservations are from Saturday to Saturday with a minimum 7 day rental.

The space
Private cottage with all the comforts of home; washer, dryer, dishwasher, heat/AC, large Muskoka room, deck, dock, BBQ, TV, karaoke machine, DVD player, DVD's, board games and a Wii gaming system. There is a large deck off of the Muskoka room with patio set and slide out awning. There is a wood burning stove in the main cottage and an outdoor fire pit ( bring your own wood). The outdoor fire pit and the deck furniture are not used in the winter. They will be out for use from May 1 to Nov 1. The Muskoka room overlooks Wolseley Bay where you can enjoy your morning coffee with a beautiful view of the bay.
There are 2 adult bikes, 2 child bikes, 2 sit on kayaks, a canoe, paddle boat and 8 adult life jackets, Bring your own child or youth life jackets if required.
The partially paved driveway is very steep. In spring/summer and fall it is not a problem with a 2 wheel drive vehicle pulling a trailer. During winter months 4 wheel drive is recommended. There is a parking area at the top of the steep portion of the driveway. Paddles and life jackets will be left in the deck box down by the boathouse. The water comes from a well, it does have a sulphur smell but is tested regularly and safe to drink. There is a water cooler: please bring your own 18 L jug. The cell service is very reliable in the cottage close to the cell booster. Outside the cottage cell service is limited. There is no wifi or TV service. Main cottage can sleep up to 6 guests. There are 2 bedrooms: master has queen bed and second bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bunk bed. The muskoka room has 2 futons. Please bring your own bedding and pillow cases. Pillows with protective covers are supplied. Dogs are welcome but please before you leave do a walk around the property and clean up after them, also keep them off the furniture and beds. Please let us know if dogs are coming before you arrive. The dock will be removed, water toys and fire pit put away November 2

There is a free boat launch at the end of Highway # 528 which is a 3 minute drive by boat and 10 minute by car from the cottage. Pine Cove Lodge is a 5 minute drive East from the cottage on Highway # 528A. The Maples golf course is 10 minute drive from the cottage on Highway # 528. There are 2 marinas within a 15 minute drive. Note : the chip wagon on the Main Street in Noelville has fantastic fish and chips.
